Canoe for 15km (9 miles) down the beautiful San Jan River near Port Renfrew to the west of Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC. Experience the back country thrill of seeing Roosevelt Elk, Black-Tailed Deer, Black Bears, Bald Eagles, Ospreys. This is an easy grade 1-2 paddle, no experience necessary. September through November is prime time for salmon spawning which attracts the Black Bears and Bald Eagles, but we operate year-round. Bring your camera and binoculars.
